Popcorn Fridays! This is our school year long fundraiser! We meet every Friday at 8am (of a full school week) to pop popcorn, fill orders, and distribute filled orders to each classroom.
Monthly PTO meetings! The first Wednesday of every month. All Parents and Guardians are welcome and are encouraged to attend these meeting. This is a great place to get to know the teachers and other parents as well as learn about upcoming PTO sponsored events and ways you can help. We also welcome ANY opinions and ideas parents might have.
As a bonus, each time a parent helps on popcorn Friday and/or attends a monthly PTO meeting, their student(s) will receive a prize!
What is the PTO?
The Parent Teacher Organization of Lewis and Clark Elementary is a group of parents with a vested interest in the school. The goal of the PTO is to support our teachers and help them and the students have a fun and successive school year. We do this by organizing fun activities to help raise funds to pay for field trips, as well as help teachers purchase school equipment and supplies that might not otherwise be in the schools budget. Parent involvement is crucial to the success of the PTO, and the best part…You don’t have to be on the board to be part of PTO! If you would like to help out please contact our volunteer coordinator.
