Idaho’s First Lady Lori Otter, a former educator and children’s books author, serves as the campaign’s honorary spokesperson. Governor C. L. “Butch” Otter has proclaimed September 2016 “School Safety and Security Month in Idaho” and has urged all Idahoans to join in the effort by being alert and vigilant in detecting and reporting potential security threats in our public schools.
