LC Summer Day Camp 2026

Dates: June 15-19 (Monday through Friday)
Times: You may sign up for one session or both sessions
    • Arrivals: 9:20AM to 9:30AM
    • AM Session - 9:30AM to 11:00AM
    • Lunch and Recess - 11:00AM to 11:30AM
    • PM Session - 11:35AM to 1:05PM
    • Pickup and Bussing Time: 1:05PM
 
Food: Lunch will be provided by Caldwell School District Food Service
 
Location: Lewis and Clark - Meet where the buses and walkers arrive on the east side of the building
Who: Students returning to Lewis and Clark in 1st to 4th grades next year (Now, including rising 5th Grade).  One option for new kinder students. 
 
Cost: Free
 
Transportation: Busing provided for routes 214 and 227 and some of route 90.  Please ask Mr. Webster if you live elsewhere and lack of transportation is keeping you from signing your child up ([email protected]). We want everyone to have a chance.

  • Rising 1st and 2nd Graders
  • Numbers, Counting, Strategies, and Manipulatives
  • Get best practices guidance for math success next year in 1st or 2nd grade.
  • Taught by Ms. Davis and Ms. Guzman (Of Lewis and Clark Fame)
  • AM Session - 9:30AM to 11:00AM
Soccer Shots Icon
Soccer Shots
  • Rising Kinder, 1st and 2nd Graders
  • Soccer Skills and Play for younger kids
  • Facilitated by Soccer Shots (an after school partner)
  • AM Session - 9:30AM to 11:00AM

  • Rising 3rd, and 4th Graders (And 5th)
  • Introduction to financial literacy and entrepreneurship and a practical approach to starting a business. 
  • Facilitated by Junior Achiement (Remember, "JA in a Day" this spring?)
  • AM Session - 9:30AM to 11:00AM

Think, Make, Create! Engineering and Science
  • Rising 3rd, and 4th Graders (And 5th)
  • Build things and explore the world of engineering and science.
  • Facilitated by Dr. Paul Verhage from The Idaho Out of School Network (ION) as well as Mrs. Call and Mrs. Kammerman
  • AM Session - 9:30AM to 11:00AM

  • Rising 1st and 2nd Graders
  • Introduction to financial literacy and entrepreneurship and a practical approach to starting a business. 
  • Facilitated by Dr. Paul Verhage from The Idaho Out of School Network (ION) as well as Mrs. Call and Mrs. Kammerman
  • PM Session - 11:35AM to 1:05PM
4-H STEAM and Art Icon
STEAM! Engineering and Art
  • Rising 3rd and 4th Graders (And 5th)
  • Design things. Build things. Test things. 4 Days of STEM Challenges with 4-H. On the 5th Day Caldwell Fine Arts will lead an art activity.
  • Facilitated by our partners at 4-H. Friday will be facilitated by Caldwell Fine Arts.
  • PM Session - 11:35AM to 1:05PM

  • Soccer Skills and Play for older kids. This is appropriate for both new players and those with experience on a team.
